Kari -

WE have had a couple of trampled little ones....

thats all...

and Palestar.... thanks for the plug...

Halloween is for children (and becoming more and more for adults) and I remember being young and how important it was to me so you will never see my house dark on Halloween.

Happy Halloween? Whatever!
First trick or treater was an adorable 6 month old frog. He was so cute and I commented to that fact. Craig informed me grown men dont say "how adorable". Next group let me know they wanted "alot". Next group asked for something to drink. I got them a glass of water and was asked if I had "little bottled waters". I wanted to say "take the candy, rot your teeth and get the hell off my step". None of the kids seemed to enjoy the lovely individually boxed chocolates that I had picked up in Paris. Every one of them asked "whats that"? Try to bring a little elegance to Halloween and no one appreciates it.
After 40 or so ghouls, monsters, and witches (4 being my adorable grandkids) I locked the door, turned off the lights, ate a couple of dark chocolates (70% cocao) and went to my favorite bar and "Got my drunk on"!!
Other peoples children are much more enjoyable after $80.00 worth of "vino Tinto".
Happy Halloween (to people I like)

Wow

Every child that came to our house was respectful and well mannered.

Each said thank you and was truly appreciative. I even commented to Jim about it.

Now Jim on the other hand sometimes doesnt know that you shouldn't tell the plump teenage girls they dont need any candy, and he also isnt smart enough not to question the non-existence of a costume - thereby making the little boy feel uncomfortable.

We took Noelle out and she really got into it.

She started off in a horrible mood because her mother and Aunt "T" woke her up to go.... but after some chocolate and a sucker she was knocking on doors and carried her own bag the entire time we were out.

I guess the Michigan kids arent as appreciative as the ones here in Phoenix..... hmmmmmmmmm!

Spoiled BRATS!!!
